The John Deere 720 was produced from 1956 to 1958, featuring a two-cylinder engine and available in row-crop, standard-tread, and high-crop versions. It claimed 53 hp at the drawbar and 59 hp at the PTO. Built in Waterloo, Iowa, a total of 22,925 row-crop units were produced, including 13,930 diesel, 4,917 gasoline, 3,670 LP-gas, and 408 all-fuel variants.
