Tractor 3-Point Linkage Types

What linkage does my tractor have?

There are 5 standardised categories of 3-point linkage, named Category 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4. Each category is defined by the size of holes at the end of the linkage arms, which are detailed in the below table.

Measure the hole size on your tractors upper and lower links, and relay these sizes to the table.

What if the attachment I want doesn't have the same linkage as my tractor?

Fear not! Many of our machines come with link pins that allow multiple categories of hitch to be connected. You can also purchase bushings to convert from one link size to another.

The main factor when finding a compatible tractor attachment is that tractor attachment's horsepower rating. As long as the horsepower range is compatible, we can provide bushings or pins to ensure the linkage can be connected.

If you are unsure whether your tractor is compatible with one of our machines, contact us and we will assist you.
