Winton WHF145 1.45m Hydraulic Offset Tractor Flail Mower

The Winton flail mower WHF145 is a heavy duty machine which is perfect for tackling overgrown areas. This mower is fitted with hydraulic side shift A-frame as standard for added manoeuvrability and also better access to hard to reach areas. This requires 1 double acting spool on the tractor for the 2 hoses which then operate the left-right movement. The offset function means the flail is ideal for cutting up to hedgerows, fencing then around any trees.

Fitted with heavier hammer flails and gearbox for tougher grass and weed control. This flail can then be used when grass and weeds are at a more manageable length to give a fine grass finish for lawns or sports fields when used regularly. Several hammer style blades are mounted to the cylindrical rotor in a spiral layout. This action is most efficient and creates finer cuttings. It is also better suited to uneven ground types than conventional rotary and topper mowers. The mower is also belt driven, there are 3 drive belts which give power to the blade rotor shaft.

This machine benefits from an adjustable rear roller, this can then be adjusted up or down along with the tractor top link arm to change finish and cutting height. The rear roller helps to avoid blade scalping on uneven areas. The mower also benefits from 2 height adjustable skids to adjust the cutting height. It also helps to avoid the mower scalping and leave an even cut when mowing.

The implement can be attached to the 3 point linkage of a range of small or compact tractors.
